Production Process

The major raw material of the Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) film is polymer, which is derived from petroleum. The production of polypropylene is extremely clean and safe from the environmental point of view.

Biaxially oriented means that the film is stretched in two different directions. This condition provides the film with different characteristics, such as low stretching, high resistance to traction, high stiffness, better optical properties and better water/gas barrier.
