On May 8, 2024, a reforestation day was held in Villa del Totoral, organized by Vitopel Argentina in collaboration with the Environmental Secretariat of the local Municipality. This initiative included the participation of various educational institutions, such as Ipetym 74 High School, Normal Superior High School, Bartolom\u00e9 Mitre Primary School, the Municipal Nursery, Nanak Institute, and Linsacat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The aim of this activity is the preservation and protection of Cerro Totoral, a natural emblem of the city, through the reforestation of native trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More than 350 children and youth were the main participants, planting over 46 trees. More than 400 tree seeds were distributed so that each participant can replicate this action at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was based on three fundamental pillars. First, it aimed at the preservation of terrestrial ecosystems and biodiversity. Second, it emphasized the importance of sharing this experience with younger generations and instilling in them the crucial value of environmental conservation. Lastly, it focused on creating bonds with a common goal: the well-being of the environment and the sustainable future of the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These actions reflect the commitment of all sectors of society to the protection of our natural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
